I’m Ray Belli, the creator, researcher, and host of Words for Granted. Launched in 2016, Words for Granted is one of the longest-running etymology and linguistics podcasts.
Since starting the podcast, I’ve become an active member in the world of educational audio. In 2019, I became one of the main organizers of Sound Education, an annual conference held in Boston, MA. In 2020, I began working for Himalaya, an educational audio platform. I hold a BA in English Literature from New York University.
